WA SESSIONS: FINAL PROGRAMME

The WA Sessions lasted 2 days and included 20 presentations organised in 8 oral sessions followed by opportunities for discussion and debate. Each session was chaired and moderated by an expert in the field.
The programme included 2 thematic workshops. Israel Alba, architect, researcher and associate professor at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca chaired a workshop entitled ‘Environmental education – Creating social value from waste management through architecture’. On wednesday afternoon the workshop ‘Architecture of Waste’ was coordinated by Hanif Kara, Professor in Practice of Architectural Technology at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, with the collaboration of Leire Asensio Villoria, lecturer in Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and Elisabet Hoglund, Tyréns.
