NORTHALA FIELDS PARK
FoRM Associates

Northala Fields is a revolutionary new park development that has turned waste material into a valuable community space. The park features interconnected fishing lakes, new woodland, new meadow and artificial landscape mounds, and is an example of adding value through landscape design.
The park was designed by artist Peter Fink and landscape architect Igor Marko of FoRM Associates, constructed from 65,000 lorry loads of waste material.
The creation of the new landforms provided a solution to a number of site and development issues. It generated the necessary funds to enable the range of recreational and ecological benefits being sought on the site, eliminating any costs to the taxpayer.
